Ok, I'm not quite sure what the first line is referring to....an angle usually is named by 1 or 3 letters, so that makes me think you're talking about a line segment ST, only that wouldn't be in degrees.

Do you mean arc st? in which case <srt and <sqt are equal to 1/2 of the arc, in this case 96/2 or 48 degrees.
