hey guys..i'm using Eclipse C++ -new to it-..and when i run a prog. it says:"lunch failed:binary not found"...so i googled it and it's probably that i don't have a compiler installed... if u guys think that's the problem ...would you recommend a good one ..??thnx ☺
right click "run as administrator"
or you could use Visual Studio 2010 Non Free (free with Accademic MSDN Subscription in College or High School) Visual Stuidio 2010 Express free Visual Studio C++ Express free (but only have c++ tools)
well running it as admin didn't work :( i'll try Visual studio...but would you recommend a compiler??coz i kind of liked Eclipse ^^
Visual Studio is a IDE, therefore it has a compiler, trash colector, JIT and all other tools necesary to code and do more :) Just get the express version, C++ of you only plan to code in C++, if you plan to code in C#, or do other things .NET related, get the full VS 2010 express, is free :)
I only ought to use eclipse for Java, and android Development (which uses Java and XML for core programming and ui design to make apps for andorid os + android phones/devices which is the equivalent of VS 2010 for C# and wp7 develoment (which uses C#, .Net 4.0, Silverlight 4 (XAML) for Core Programming and UI desing to make apps for Windows Phone 7 os + wp7 phines +Zune (mp3/mp4/mobilepod) / devices Just use vs 2010 is easy and fun, also you can install extensions/tools to help out for debugin, package managers (like nuGet) and other stuff :)
Try Code::Blocks , works like a dream
