OpenStudy (anonymous):

F(x) = 2[x] how do you graph this?? any help would be great im stuck!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Give x a value, eg, 0, therefore y=2(0) Give x another value, and so on

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what are the brackets? is this just f(x) = 2x? Or are you trying to show absolute value or something?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

i wonder if its a step function

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its just absolute value

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so the usual absolute value graph is a "v" with the point at the origin and a slope of +/- 1. Multiply by two, and it's the same thing except with a slope of +/- 2.
