change the < into an = sign and make y the subject of the formula. if you are looking at linear programming then shade the side in which the inequality applies to x and y.

Find value for x when y=0 x =4

Plot these coordinates (0, -3) and (4, 0)
Draw a hatched line betweeen and through these points and shade the earea to the right and beneath the line.
