y = 2.5 x + b
5 = 2.5 * 3 + b
5 = 7.5 + b
b = - 2.5

y = 2.5 x + b
8 = 2.5 * 5 + b
8 = 12.5 + b
b = - 4.5

y = 2.5 x + b
13 = 2.5 * 6 + b
13 = 15 + b
b = -2

Averaging the b's, ( - 2.5 - 4.5 - 2) / 3 = -9/3 = -3.
