Can a quartic polynomial's second derivative have imaginary solutions?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, they can.. The second derivative of a quartic polymonial is a quadratic polynomial. Proof of that can start with a particular quadratic known to have complex solutions, integrating it once to get a cubic and then again to get a quartic, a particcular example of one whose second derivative has complex roots.
