solve by the elimination method 0.05x+0.25y=11 0.15x+0.05y=12

ok this looks easy!!! let me help!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

First write 1 equation above de oder !!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Then find the lcm of one of the terms with same coefficient! that is let us take x so we find the lcm of both the coefficients of x! Now just multiply both the equations completely with the factor which will make the coefficients of x same!!! then multiply 1 of the equations with -1 so that 1 variable gets eliminated then solve it like a linear equation now solve it for yourself!

oh and 1 more thing don't forget to do multiplication in RHS also and remember that when we get rid of 1 variable we get our equation in the form ay - by = c and we get c after the subtraction of the c1 from c2!!! best of luck!

No it was 0.5,-0.5
