What are the zeros of the polynomial function: f(x) = 2x3-7x2-53x+28?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-4, 1/2 and 7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no easy way to check for degree 3. best to graph and guess. if the zeros are rational you know the numerator divides 28 and the denominator divides 2, but you have many many possibilities and the zeros don't even need to be rational!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so just graph the thing (on a calculator or here) f(x) = 2x3-7x2-53x+28 and out they pop
