As long humans and their egos are there, war is ALWAYS a distinct possibility !!
Also with increasing population, water shortages are becoming severe and I think capturing water resources is going to be the next reason for war. Look at how China is making plans to divert water from the Brahmaputra and stop it from reaching India !!!!

I don't think so. We have SO many examples of wars who destroyed the involved both socially and economically. and the peace treaties that are happening in the world prove that the world is getting a little wiser :) Don't worry,be happy and pray for the authorities and does not happen any more war.

as fossil fuels such as oil and gas continue to go up in price, smaller countries will be unable to afford the prices this will eventually cause fighting to start and as oil eventually gives out war will follow

There is always a possibility of another world war in the future. With the the price of oil going up this could eventually end up in a world war.
