Does anyone have the updated links for the readings, exercises, and suggested text?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Updated? Do you mean other than those links in the left sidebar of the classes homepage? I've been able to find what I need there, but this is the first class I've taken on OCW so I may not be understanding your question. Are you starting this course?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you're looking specifically for the book, "How to Think Like a Computer Scientist" go to link, "Readings" in the left sidebar. Then the first line under "General References" gives the title with a ".pdf" link to download the book.

she might be asking if the course has been updated, in which case it hasn't, but if you look at the MIT OCW you can find a course called introduction to python, i haven't look at it myself but i heard it is a slightly more updated version, without any of the video lectures.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't think it's an update to this one. It has a different course number.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

different name, different course number, i heard the content was similar. key word being heard

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah, similar enough, though the lack of lecture transcript is pretty inconvenient.
