you have to add the two together though to get the total mark-up price f the tea set. So $1400. + $770.= $2170.00

Ok well this question was on a test of mine, and I did it the same way you did. It was marked wrong. I have no idea how the answer is $3,111.11but that's what the correct answer is on the test. So I guess we are doing math wrong.
