x+3y=32 -3x+2y-3 Need help using the substitution method
maybe this is \[x+3y=32\] \[-3x+2y=3\]
or maybe not i don't know.
wait, she didn't post it right
x=32-3y -3x=3-2y => x=-1+2y/3 32-3y=-1+2y/3 33=2y/3+3y 33=11y/3 33*3/11=y 9=y x=32-3(9)=32-27=5 (5,9) is the intersection if satellite has the lines right and if i made no mistake
yep, x = 5, y = 9
well since you have nice whole number answers i bet it is correct.
but it does say substitute yes? write \[x=32-3y\] and next equation becomes \[-3(32-3y)+2y=3\] \[11y=99\] \[y=9\] not sure where those fractions came from. right answer though
i jsut solve both equations for x
and set the equations = to each other and solved for y
ictrees your answer is fine. but really if you solve for y in terms of x why solve for x in terms of y? you already have x = 32-3y
lol because i wanted to

you dont have follow me
i dont know i was asking a stupid gre question last night and i forgot to log out
\[\color{red}{\text{you cannot fool me}}\]
teach me to type in colors
\[\color{blue}{\text{what will i get out of it?}}\]
you dont have to share the bike
start and end via latex. then this \color{green}{\text{it's not easy being green}}
you can use hex colors as well.
\[\color{pink}{\text{satellite likes pink}}\]
\[\color{#FF0099}{\text{this is pink!}}\]
\[\color{orange}{\text{orange is prettiest}}\]
hot pink?
\[\color{#9900FF}{\text{hex colors}}\]
\[\color{red}{\text{\frac{5x}{y-1}}}\]
no math in colors?
won't work because you have it in the "text"
oh :(
\[\color{orange}{\frac{a}{b}}\]
just remove the "text"
\color{orange}{\frac{a}{b}}
put in latex and will work
\[\color{blue}{\frac{a^2}{a}}\]
:)
amistre created this monster. waste all your time
but i just like this
\[\color{green}{\text{it's not easy being green}}\]
\[\color{green}{\frac{-b\pm\sqrt{b^2-4ac}}{2a}}\]
\[\color{red}{\text{\S}} \color{blue}{\text{A}} \color{green}{\text{T}} \color{purple}{\text{E}} \color{pink}{\text{L}} \color{orange}{\text{I}} \color{gray}{\text{T}} \color{yellow}{\text{E}}\]
