OpenStudy (anonymous):

you have already got lots of answer. Still hungry??!! what is the nature of your internet connection? the speed depends on bandwidth. you cannot boost it freely(without any cost)!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't know it correct or not, but i heard that sometimes low amount of ram cause low speed...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@kush are you using BSNL?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

go to testmyspeed.com and post the speed

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and if bsnl your plan also

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm starting to suspect that you might be using some kind of dialup connection.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no it is wireless connection off reliance company

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You mean like in cellular connection? CDMA or the like?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it is a wireless connection

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well yes, but there are many kind of connections that we can call 'wireless connection'. Do you use a modem or something? If yes, can you describe how it looks? Or are you referring to WiFi?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait i m giving u a link see it :

OpenStudy (anonymous):

BUT MAY I ASK WHY U NEED IT

OpenStudy (anonymous):

http://www.reliancenetconnect.co.in/ then see the advertisement of a pendrive that is the modem or my connection type

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I see now. It's a CDMA dialup. A kind of wireless, cellular connection. I'm using one myself, and I must tell you that sadly, you don't have much choice in this. You see, your max speed would be 18 KB/s. That is, 144 kbps divided by 8. And even then, you might not reach the actual advertised speed. My advertised speed is 230.4 kbps, and I only average at 7-8 KB/s. My only suggestion is to look for an area with better signal reception, that usually does the trick....
