how many primary partitions do you have.
I think one primary partition is needed for the windows OS to work well.
Converting the available single primary partition will cause problems and you won't be able to boot into the system.

i have two primary partition one is for windows and one was created when i try to install ubantu but now i have only windows 7 and i uninstall ubantu but ubantu splits my one logical partition into two one primary and another logical i want to merge them into one in logical pls help me

Now you have 2 partitions- one primary and one extended(logical)
what you can do now is merge the extended partition with available primary. Use a partition manager like-Easeus or Partition magic. to do it.
I have n't done it.......and I am not sure of the sucess %. Data loss may occur on doing so.
If you have not much data stored in your drive you can delete the partitions......Create a new single partition .......and format it with the needed file system......and reinstall the OS.
I always prefer multiple partitions, One primary + extended multiples.....so that you won't loss much data on playing with file systems.
