Short answer: Raise the quantity in parentheses to the indicated exponent, and simplify the resulting expression. Express answers with positive exponents. (-33xy^-1 / 66x^0y^-3)^2 This is my work: =-33^2x^2(y^-1)^2 / 66^2(x^0=1=1^2)(y^-3)^2 =1089x^2y^(-1-2) / 4356*1y^(-3-2) =1089x^2y^-3 / 4356y^-5 I need the answer not to be a negative, how do I do that?

y^-3 / y^-5 = y^2

answer then becomes 1089x^2y^2 / 4356

is that ok?
