Write a quadratic equation in the variable x having the given numbers as solutions.? Type the equation in standard form, ax^2 + bx + c = 0 solutions are -3,1

OpenStudy (blockcolder):

if the solutions of ax^2+bx+c are -3 and 1, then that means ax^2+bx+c=(x+3)(x-1). Expanding the right side yields x^2+2x-3. That's your answer. :D
