hey are some trig or alg 3 topics talked about in here

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

simply problems are solvd here

OpenStudy (anonymous):

alg 3 or trig probs?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what are the problems?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok what do you do if the directions say solve the quadratic inequality (x^2-4x+3 is greater than or equal to 0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well, you can factor this quadratica and then solve for the zeros

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Then make a table and determine in what regions or region the inequality is true

OpenStudy (anonymous):

which way do the inequalities point

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, i would have to solve your problem first o know that , so let me doit

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x< or>3 and 1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The answer is going to be \[(-\infty,1]\cup[3,\infty)\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I used to be a wiz at math but I was run over by a truck and had a traumatic brain injury

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lagrangeson has it. you do not need a table however. all you need to remember is that \[y=x^2-4x+3\] is a parabola that faces up. therefore it will be positive outside the zeros and negative between them

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The table makes it clear for me :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but that is not one of my choices?I have 1<x<3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what r ur choices
