can factor using by using completing the square...but numbers come out won't be a whole numbers...

y^2 +8y + 16 -11
(y+4)^2 -11
(y +4 - squrt(11)) (y+4 + squrt(11))
\[(y+4-\sqrt{11})(y+4 +\sqrt{11}) \]
