how to delete virus autorun.inf ??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Autorun.inf is not a virus. This file exists in many removable medias and is used by Windows to specify a software to be executed when the media is inserted, icon to be displayed for that media and/or a special context menu for that media. However, it might be used by virus or worms that spread through USB drives, for example. Some of those viruses write the autorun.inf file in a way that it cannot be removed by simply deleting it as the virus or worm is already in memory and will rewrite the file in case you manage to delete it. The recommended way of removing it is by first scanning your computer using an anti-virus software, so that the worm is removed from memory, and then clean or reformat the USB drive.

if it is a usb dive or portable hard disk, plug it in a computer with Linux, find it and delete it. If it is a cd ....then no way...... In windows......Use a good updated antivirus..........Or else format the drive.

It sometimes can't can't be found by even the latest antivirus, because it roots is in the registrys. This autorun launches before the antivirus launches during startup. Search for it on google, and you'll find the solution.
