Domain and range.. i can't understand.. what is the answer here (6,3)(5,5/2)(4,2)(3,3/2) ??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The domain is the set of x-coordinates of the given points and is {6, 5, 4, 3}. The range is the set of y-coordinates and is {3, 5/2, 2, 3/2}.

Look up the definition of domain and range of a function, and make sure you understand it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Say you have y = (something with x's). You say y is a function of x (y = f(x) for short). You input values for x and your function outputs values for y. So (6,3) means x = 6 was input and y=3 was output. The domain is all the possible inputs and the range is all the possible outputs.
