Determine the general explicit solution of the following differential equation: x(dy/dx) = y(x^2) - 4y = 2x^6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Your equation should look something like this: dy/dx + g(x)y = h(x) You have an extra = sign in there for some reason, can you check the question?

My bad,the first "=" should be a + sign

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So you can rearrange that so it looks like what I said and then use the integrating factor method to get the general solution in explicit form.

That sounds good, thanks

u r welcome.
