how do you find the length of a 45, 45, 90 triange? 2 sides are 5 units..i know i could just do a squared + b squared = c squared but is there another way to solve for the other side because it is a 45 45 90 triangle???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The hypotenuse is \[\sqrt{2}\] times the leg

OpenStudy (anonymous):

than you! is that for all 45 45 90 triangles

OpenStudy (anonymous):

???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes, or the leg is 1/2 the hypotenuse times sqrt(2) - same thing just diving rather than multiplying
