find the gcf for terms bring my mind back on how to work plse: -x8, -7x3, -35x6 =

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For GCF you have to find the GCF of the numerical coefficients and for variables the least common power of the variable(s) present in all terms Here the first term has 1 as numerical coefficient, second term has -7 and third term has -35, so 1 is the GCF of numerical part First has index of x as 8, second has index of x as 3 and third term has index of x as 6 so highest common index is 3 so the GCF of the three terms is 1*x^3 or x^3 is that clear??

so harkirat the final answer will be x3

sorry..... I missed out the negative sign in front of all terms.. so GCF will be -x^3

thnks I got close- apprecitate you
