Systems of equations can be solved by graphing or by using substitution or elimination. What are the pros and cons of each method? Which method do you like best? Why? What circumstances would cause you to use a different method?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The method I like isn't really a formal method

graphing will sometimes only give you an approximate result elimination is usually easiest for linear equations if u have mixed equations (like 1 linear and 1 quadratic ) u have to use substitution i have no preferences the method i would choose depends on the kind of equations

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you use elimination method and it doesn't work, try substitution.

If subsititution doesn't work, it's probably no solution or parallel
