is geometry hard???? can someone tell me what I'll excpect in geometry.... any tips or advice????

Geometry, in my experience, is not very hard. I've mostly taught myself the subject, so I have some idea of what to expect. Geometry deals with the properties of certain shapes that are continually found in nature. The Greeks believed that God is a geometer, and they believed geometry was perfect. This attitude continued well up into the 17th century, the time of Rene Descartes, who actually united Euclidean (2-dimensional) geometry with algebra. Geometry contains many rules, or ideas, called "axioms" from which certain properties of shapes (right triangles, for example) are proven, or shown to be inexorably true. Your understanding of geometry will mostly consist in your imagination, it being a slightly abstract science, but it can be found throughout the world as well, where it was first noticed. It also depends on how you take geometry. Go at it with a fresh, enthusiastic attitude and you'll probably like the subject. It is very visual, so be comforted in that small degree. Anyone have anything else to say?
