A curve has eq. y=(x²-3)e^-x. Find the coordinates of the pts. of intersection of the curve with the x-axis.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Set it equal to zero. e^-x is never zero. So you only need to worry about x^2-3 Which gives you +sqrt(3) and -sqrt(3)

OpenStudy (paige):

Oh. Ok thanks! :)
