is the left side correct - it has two numbers -4 and -2

ya its x over 2x-4 then -2 = 1 over x-2

oh ok - sorry so x / (2x -4) - 2 = 1 / (x-2) multiply thru by 2x-4 : x - 2(2x-4) = 2 x - 4x + 8 = 2 3x = 6 x = 2
