If AM = 7, MB = 6, and CM = 8, find CD HELLP ME!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

In such a case AM*MB = CM*MD so, 7*6 = 8*CD 42 = 8*CD 42/8 = CD 5.25 = CD So CD = 5.25

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its saying incorrect

OpenStudy (anonymous):

who is saying it is incorrect???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok terricherri, u r right...... I checked again and am sending the revised solution...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

In such a case AM*MB = CM*MD so, 7*6 = 8*MD 42 = 8*MD 42/8 = MD 5.25 = MD So MD = 5.25 Now CD = CM + MD = 8 + 5.25 = 13.25 Is it correct now???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea its 13.25 coz AM=5.25
