If AM = 7, MB = 6, and CM = 8, find CD HELLP ME!
In such a case AM*MB = CM*MD so, 7*6 = 8*CD 42 = 8*CD 42/8 = CD 5.25 = CD So CD = 5.25

pls check the calculation.. out of four segments, we r already given lengths of three and hv to find length of the fourth....
its saying incorrect
who is saying it is incorrect???
ok terricherri, u r right...... I checked again and am sending the revised solution...
In such a case AM*MB = CM*MD so, 7*6 = 8*MD 42 = 8*MD 42/8 = MD 5.25 = MD So MD = 5.25 Now CD = CM + MD = 8 + 5.25 = 13.25 Is it correct now???
