can you help with the following problems in my attachment

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sure.... the first one is \[\sqrt[3]{y ^{7}}*\sqrt{81y ^{8}}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

see, we have to factorise the number/term under the root sign and then if it is sqroot then u make pairs of two and for each pair take one number out if it is cuberoot, you make sets of three and take one out for each set so we solve this as follows:\[\sqrt[3]{y ^{3}*y ^{3}*y} *\sqrt{9^{2}*y ^{2}*y ^{2}*y ^{2}*y ^{2}}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this becomes \[y*y*\sqrt[3]{y} * 9*y*y*y*y\] this gives \[9y ^{6}\sqrt[3]{y}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

next is not clear so I am taking the last one \[\sqrt[5]{64x ^{17}y ^{15}}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\sqrt[5]{2^{5}*2*x ^{5}*x ^{5}*x ^{5}*x ^{2}*y ^{5}*y ^{5}*y ^{5}}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[2*x*x*x*y*y*y*\sqrt[5]{2*x ^{2}}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[2x ^{3}y ^{3}\sqrt[5]{2x ^{2}}\]
