1/5x-1/6(x-4)=6x

Develop this equation order x in one side and solve. \[x/5-x/6+4/6=6x\]\[(1/5)x-(1/6)x-6x=-4/6\]\[(6/30)x-(5/30)x-(180/30)x=-20/30\]\[5x-6x-180x=-20\]\[-181x=-20\] \[x=20/181\]

x/30+4/6=6x x=0.111

I'm getting 20/179 - what am I doing wrong?

BTW never round a value except if it's ask, a round value is not an exact answer!

thanks

There was a mistake in the original calculation of the following: (6/30)x−(5/30)x−(180/30)x = −20/30 6x-5x-180x=-20 <<< This is correct 179x =-20 x =-20/179

right, i switch it ^^ hopefully you noticed!
