What is the equation, or a technique to determine a line that is perpendicular to another?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

many ways to do that depending on data *vectors and dot product *angle calculation & geometry *equations *...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The slopes of two perpendicular lines are the negative inverses of each other. This means that, for example, any line with a slope of 2 can be perpendicular to a line with a slope of -1/2.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What if the slope is say -2/3. The perpendicular line would be -1/(2/3)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i meant to say 2/3* not -2/3.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes.
