Essay; show all work. Bob's Barber Shop estimates their gross revenue for the second quarter to be given by the polynomial 9x^3 +4x^2 -6x +9. The shop estimates their costs for that quarter to be given by 7x^2 +2x +1. For the second quarter, find and simplify a polynomial that will represent their profit. Gross revenue for 2quarter= 9x^3 + 4x^2 -6x +9 Cost for 2quarter= 7x^2 + 2x +1 Profit= Gross revenue for 2quarter - cost for 2quarter (9x^3 +4x^2 -6x +9) - (7x^2 + 2x +1) Is this the right polynomial, give me some time and I will work it out and post that in a bit. Thank you for your help

that is correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

9x^3+4x^2 -6 +9 -7x^2 -2x -1 9x^3 (4-7)x^2 (-6-2)x +(9-1) =9x^3 -3x^2 -8x+8

thats correct as well :)
