This is the equation I think, but I don't know how to solve

3(5+3) = 4(4+x) ; 4*4 = 16 not 14 :)

3(8) = 16 + 4x

24 -16 = 4x

8/4 = x

x = 2 ... but let me dbk chk

16+4x=24
x=(24-16)/4
x=8/4
x =2
