Given: P(8, 4) and Q(-1, 9). Write the component form of vector PQ. Show all work.
The vector PQ is going to be (-1-8, 9-4) = (-9, 5)
I see. Thank You.
hey cool name and pic MRBONEZ wish i took it first lol
but i am a girl so the title Mr isnt really fit 4 me
hello? i am kinda freakin out here pls talk pls ( i am scared)

kk and i fell sooo bad 4 u ( u got 2 do a work sheet)
Not bad... Its just an early start of school... not really... but yeah...
lol ur funny
thanks :)
what grade are you going into for the 2011 - 2012 school year?
does component form mean: Xi + Yj ?
I dont even know what Xi + Yj means...
i and j are how we write out a vector in equation form .. sorta
V<3,5> means: 3i+5j
okay. but am i correct in assuming that if you do (x2-x1,y2-y1) that i will receive my answer?
Okay...
i think the <> and the ij ae interchangable in the component form
Okay.
When i say (-9,5) i mean -9i + 5j, i havent used that notation in a loooong time though, my bad >.<
wait, so after -9i + 5j, what next?
[-9,5]^T (T means transpose, to column) is your vector or you can just write Vector PQ in component form is -9i + 5j (i and j are unit vectors in the x and y directions and represent the basis for the vector space).
Thank You!
