how do you study sucessfully for a math final exam

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i just want some tips and techniques you guys used to ace your final exams

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

get a brief review of the topic!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a final exam has all the topics...you learned the semester

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

okay, then u should take a brief review of all the topics and try some of the difficult questions! Finally, Pray & hope for good. lol.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You should make a list of the topics that you know will be on the exam, and once you have that you should use your textbook and work sample problems pertaining to that topic. Oftentimes a teacher will ask similar questions to those that appear in the book and a textbook also gives a wide variety of problem types for a topic. Therefore, by studying the various problems of a topic you will have a concrete and diffuse knowledge of that topic and all the others. Of course when you have this, your going to get an A+!

okay thanks for your advice saifoo.khan!

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

uw. =)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks hlrcollins! i'll try that method too

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Whenever I have a math exam, I usually will make that list and spend all day working problems from that list. I find that when you have done all of the types of problems you will see, you won't be very surprised. It's time consuming, but I have never made a B on an exam that I studied like this for. Hardwork pays off!

put all of the equations you kno into your calc for reference

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay thanks hlrcollins and rockstarguy!
