When do the three clock hands (hour, min, sec) form three 120-degree angles?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

12 4 8

OpenStudy (llort):

a lot... there are numerous combinations

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got told their was 4?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

12 4 8 1 5 9 2 6 10 3 7 11

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

anywhere where they are all 4 hours apart 12 4 8 1 5 9 2 6 10 3 7 11

Thank You! :D

None of these answers are right thus far.. Eg. 12 4 8.. Say second hand at 12, minute hand at 4 and hour hand at 8.. this doesnt happen.. As the minute hand gets closer to 4 on the clock.. the hour hand moves between the 8 and the 9.. and therefore this is not a legitimate set of 120 degree angles

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then? Can you help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

min at 12 hr at 8 sec at 4 would be the closest posible solution
