Can somebody please explain, how my solutions manual got (a-b)(a-b+1) from (a-b)(a+b) +1(a+b), by grouping?

okay factor out (a+b) so you end up with: (a+b)[(a-b)+1]

or if you open up parenthesis: (a+b)[a-b+1]
