(1-x)^2n=2nC0-2nC1x+2nC2 x^2-................+2nC2n x^2n
adding

(1+x)^2n+(1-x)^2n=2(2nC0+2nC2 x^2+2nC4 x^4+.....2nC2n x^2n)

put x=1
2^2n=2(your required sum)
your required sum=2^(2n-1)
