Which logarithmic equation is equivalent to the exponential equation below? can someone teach me how to do this?

OpenStudy (sriram):

i m sorry but, where is the question??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

8^x = 24 i just want to know how to convert them. i have never understood that

OpenStudy (sriram):

look in such cases jst take log on both sides hence log 8^x=log24 x*log8=log24 calculate log8 & log 24 using calc. and solve for x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im not trying to solve for x. i need to convert it to log form

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Then you want base 8. And the exponent is x, with the bit inside being 24. So log8 (24)=x

thanks man.
