As a lover of Math, I find it sensationally fun to observe that the math area is consistently full of people asking questions and giving answers. Perhaps it is the concreteness of math that makes it so easy to ask a question and get THE answer, not AN answer. There are questions in History, Biology and Physics that would take pages to give AN answer and even then there would be people who argue another answer, or a third. Peace in the realm of math.

The true power of math, imho, is that everything is well-defined, and only a couple of assumtions are made. Everything else is derived by logic. Now compare it with, for example, philosophy - where the definition of a word or a concept is always variable in terms of the point of view of sby.

True, though that also means the potential for discussion in the other subjects is wonderfully more elevated :)
