i'm new to computer science......... from where to start?????????????????

OpenStudy (anonymous):

first, learn the four primitives. then learn algorithims then data structures then specific lang syntax then if statements then for/while loop then recursion then graphics. now you are done

OpenStudy (anonymous):

language syntax takes the most time, and you continue to learn it in steps 5-8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is there any online resource to learn these stuff

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i'd start with binary, then assembly, then that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just watch youtube videos and look up seark and sort algorithms. on my tumblr page, i wrote a small segment about the primatives and getting started using java, heres the link http://mythik.tumblr.com/post/3779463991/java-1-where-to-start. that might help

thanks Rockstarguy141

I would suggest learning about polymorphism first. lol jk, dont. The basics are not hard to master, and everything is just built on top of that.

I recommend Stanford University's open courseware course "Programming Methodology - CS106A" to start with. http://see.stanford.edu

i would suggest poblem solving and programming first on NPTEL
