Is there a place to ask questions about more complex topics?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think no....... you have to ask questions in the respective sessions........

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So if there is not a respective session, is there a means to add them as the site receives feedback?

OpenStudy (mathteacher1729):

What specific topics are you looking to address?

I posted something more akin to what I was speaking about, under openstudy feedback. :) For example.. Language is assumed to be questions asked in that language, what if you are studying Spanish? learning and understanding, through dialogue, and interaction with other students, and teachers, as well as native speakers who happen by.. Political Science is another example of a topic that could be general or specific and take up a lot of room in one area, that might be better suited on its own in the first place. I am studying the model here, and like it so far.

Yes, the purpose of the broad groups here is to put as many people together as possible. As groups grow, we consider splitting them out, or other ways of better organizing their content. The math group is getting closer to reaching that level, for example. So for now, I would ask questions even in foreign languages in the Spanish group; as interest grows, we'll keep an eye on things and adjust accordingly.
