this reason is too complex by the way how can we figure out that we have to write it as 3d^5 and 4s^1 if i forget this?

Beats me, I'm not a chemist. It's supposed to be 4s2 3d4 (isn't it?) so I guess you'll just have to remember that chromium is (-1,1) the usual.
