how do i do this omfg –3x + y = 2 –9x + 3y = 6 What is the solution to the system? No Solutions Infinite Solutions (3, 2) (9, 2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

infinite solutions

OpenStudy (blacksteel):

Since the equations you're given are just multiples of one another, any (x,y) pair satisfying one will automatically satisfy the other. Thus, since there are infinitely many solutions to either one of those problems alone, the system has infinitely many solutions.
