how to solve equation x^3+2x^2+3x-4=0

OpenStudy (aroub):

u want to factor it ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

where it is factorized , no you are wrong

Its not called "factorizing" it. It is called "factoring" it. And when you factor it, it will tell you what x values solve this equation. Where x makes this function = 0 is equivalent to the x-intercepts. This function only has ONE. The other two are complex. There is no "by hand" way to factor it unless you use the formula for a 3rd order equation.
