Can somebody help me figure out, how to graph the real solution to x^2 -4x + 7 = 0, on a graphing calculator?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You mean find real solution from a graph in calculator

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't see how to type in the equation equaling 0 into the calculator, to be graphed.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What kind of Calculator ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a free online version of a TI graphing calculator that I have..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Graph function y= x^2 -4x + 7 and see where the graph hit zero(x axis)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I did, and it does not hit the x axis at all..it's a parabola coming off the y axis...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That means no real solution

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks, make things hard on myself at times. :P

That's good, you learn more that way
