lim x->infinity of ((27x^3-1)/(x+1)^2)^(1/2)

OpenStudy (matt101):

The answer is infinity; you'll notice that the highest degree in the numerator (3) is larger than the highest degree in the denominator (2), which means the numerator gets bigger much more quickly than the denominator. The fact that the entire thing is square rooted doesn't make a difference.
