Question

newbie hacker question: I want Administrative priviliges on a Windows domain. i have admin rights on a local computer on the network, i've Nmaped my way to the main server's ip + open ports and found rpd open. even tried bruteforce attack on the rdp with ncrack but my computer sucks so it takes way to long. and a simple "net view" shows that the "Administrator" account is active. but i do not know where to go from here. could someone get me started with a few programs or techniques?

using windows xp professional, the server is windows server 2003, but i know i can boot backtrack from usb too.

the only thing you have tried really is to bruteforce the domain controller. unless you know of a vulnerability in something running on that machine that you can exploit its very unlikely you will get far. try looking up metasploit i suppose.

tnx, i've tried using a metasploit thingy i found on youtube, but that didn't really teach me much. know about a good tutorial for metasploit?
