if you mean the physics subject gre test, then i suggest taking as many practice tests as you can. go to any book store and buy prep books that have practice tests. get the practice tests off of ets.org. search on google for practice tests. 

when you find a problem you dont know how to do, go back to the textbook you first learned the material and reread the chapter, do some problems, and don't look at the gre answers until you've stared at the problem for at least a half hour.

if you mean the general gre test, then dont study for it cuz it doesnt matter. not for science degree programs.
