9/z+7=8/z-6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\frac{9}{z+7}=\frac{8}{z-6}\]?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Solution: z = -1/13

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[9(z-6)=8(z+7)\] \[9z-54=8z+56\] \[9z-8z=56+54\] \[z=110\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that is assuming it was the problem i wrote

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it was 9/z+7 not 9/(z+7) i think the 7 is not under the 9
